Fuel tax rates were last changed on July 1, 2022. The current rates are:

  • 9 ¢ per litre for clear diesel (including blended), clear kerosene and biodiesel
  • 4.5¢ per litre for railway equipment

The current dye cost (updated quarterly) is $2.59 per litre.
