Runoff coefficient for southwestern Hudson Bay and Nelson River watershed system

The data set represents the annual and monthly (July, August and September) runoff coefficient for each of the Water Survey of Canada’s HYDAT stream gauges of the Southwestern Hudson Bay and Nelson River watershed systems.

Since 2010, the Provincial Mapping Unit of the Ministry of Natural Resources has produced a series of hydrology and climate statistics data sets for the Southwestern Hudson Bay and Nelson River watershed systems.

This information:

  • is pivotal to hydrologic modelling and land use planning including climate change
  • can be used to sustainably manage water resources in the Far North region

We are no longer updating this data. It is best suited for historical research and analysis.
